Our Royal Forest Dress features a lush botanical and woodland-inspired fabric print designed and hand-painted in watercolor by Ceci Johnson of Ceci New York. An ocelot peers through peonies; foxes, owls, rabbits and squirrels nestle among parrot tulips, poppies, irises and roses; butterflies and tiny beetles punctuate the scene like hidden jewels. Set against deepest black, every brushstroke and saturated color comes vividly to life.
This dress feels as wonderful as it looks. A high waisted bodice meets an exceptionally full skirt; gathered to create sweeping volume. Beneath, a ruffled underskirt adds even more fullness—and an irresistible sense of twirl. The three-quarter-length sleeves are fully lined and finished with extravagant circular ruffle cuffs; when little arms are lifted, the ruffles fall open to reveal more woodland friends within. Cut from smooth, silky charmeuse, the Royal Forest Dress feels light and airy.
