You know this girl. She's the one who's always the first to introduce herself to the new kid in class. She wears a tutu with galoshes, to dance in the rain. She's the one who lists "glitter" as her favorite color. The one who wore her fairy wings for a year, every day. We made this coat for her. Rainbows and butterflies, magic every day!
Silver and gold butterflies flutter around a brilliant rainbow on our dreamy dress coat. Tailored from the lushest sky blue wool, the dimensional gilded butterflies are hand placed on the front, back, and sleeves of each coat. A cozy faux fur collar and epaulets ensure that this topper is a blend of all her favorite things!
Lined in a gorgeous rainbow butterfly print designed especially for us by artist and illustrator Matthew Langille.
- Swingy A-line shape fits easily over casual outfits or party dresses
- Faux fur collar and epaulets add extra warmth and structure
- Fully lined in charmuse to slide on easily over winter clothing
- Easy to close buttons hidden under front placket
- Functional pockets to store gloves (or treasures!)
- Surprise hot pink center back pleat
Take a look at our Size Guide! This style runs true to size. The sleeves are fully lined so they can be folded up if needed. Children's coat sizes correspond to the child's age, so for an average two year old order a 2T, or a 3T if you would like room to grow!
All our Rainbow Coats have a wool blend outer and satin charmuse lining. It is a three season coat - designed to be layered over fleeces and sweaters in the coldest weather and worn on its own in the autumn and spring.
This coat is Dry Clean Only. Most families tell us that they only need to dry clean their coat at the end of each season before they put it away for the summer.
Fabric Content:
