Tailored from the softest ivory wool blend and trimmed with sumptuous snow white faux fur at the collar and cuffs, this exquisite girls coat features intricate Baroque-inspired embroidery designed by Ceci Johnson - the same romantic artwork that graces the matching dress, here transformed into dimensional threadwork that brings bluebirds, roses, and dramatic scrollwork to life.
The embroidery tells a story. Heart medallions grace the front and back like crests of courage, encircled by bluebirds and ribbon swags. On the back, a crown rises above the words "Love" and "Dream"- a quiet benediction embroidered into the fabric itself. These are the wishes mothers and grandmothers whisper: that she move through the world with confidence, that she hold fast to her dreams. Fairy tale endings may originate in storybooks, but the dreams we nurture in childhood become the compass that guides us forward. The Enchanted Princess Coat has a wool blend outer and satin charmuse lining. The double breasted shape and faux fur collar and cuffs make it suitable for the coldest weather.
This coat is Dry Clean Only. Most families tell us that they only need to dry clean their coat at the end of each season before they put it away for the summer.
