Vintage Schmidt Oslo Handknit Sweater, Size 3-4 Years

This cardigan sweater is a beautiful example of a traditional circle yoke knit. Knit with a ring of girls and boys holding hands around the yoke and pewter buttons engraved with running moose. It measures 30" around the chest, and 14" long from center back neck to hem; this correlates to a modern size 3-4 years. The sleeves are 19" from the edge of the neck ribbing to the cuff.
In excellent condition, the colors are bright and there are no pulls in the knit.
The brand label reads "William Schmidt Oslo, Handknitted in Norway".
Yarn content is 100% wool, so this would be hand wash or dry clean only to avoid shrinkage.
