Vintage Embroidered Pierrot Dress from Italy, Size 10-12 Years

Incredible embroidery and a hand smocked waist detail this classic girls cotton dress made in Italy. Voluminous puffed sleeves are trimmed with a delicate scalloped edge, which also trims the peter pan collar. The real star of this dress, however, is the embroidery. The collar, bodice, and skirt are scattered with tiny hand embroidered flowers, and the skirt front serves as the meet cute of a pair of charming clowns under a smiling sun. The girl's full white skirt in trimmed in dimensional lace. A deep hem and waist ties are further hallmarks of quality; this piece is definitely an heirloom to treasure.

The brand label is hand stitched in place and reads "Il Corredino" Lungarno Corsini 17 R Firenze.

It measures 30" around the chest, 25" around the waist and is 27.25" long from center back neck to hem, which correlates to a modern size 10-12 years. 

Buttons up the back with tiny shell buttons.  

In very good vintage condition with no noticeable flaws or marks.
